Everyday Miracles
Quick overview of this week! Brown, Bakela, and Aba were baptized on Saturday! It was such a beautiful day. I truly think that being a missionary is a sacred calling.
Transfers are tomorrow! Sister Hallam is going home.
Today I wanted to talk about miracles. They happen all the time. I see them every day. Like this morning. Sister Hallam and I went to the church to exercise this morning and on our way home ( turning right at an intersection) we slid out. Going all the way across through traffic, and landed in a corn field. Nobody was hurt. The car was fine. And we were able to drive off with no other problems. What a miracle it was that:
- One, no cars were hit.
- Two, We didn't get stuck.
- Three, We were both safe.
With that being said, miracles don't have to be this huge thing. In fact most of the time they aren't. It could be someone being willing to talk to us on the streets. Which is why you can never discount a miracle for just plain luck.
I hope this week you all look for the miracles that are happening right in front of your eyes. Because they are there. And if you can't see any, then I excite you to kneel in prayer and ask your Father in Heaven to help you open your eyes a little more so you can see his hand in your life.
I know that my Saviors hand is in my life, every day. I know it's BECAUSE of Him that I can have miracles in my own life. I know He is the greatest miracle of all.
I hope you have a good week, and strive to #LightTheWorld !!
Love,
Sister Scherzinger
P.S. I received Marvin's card! I love him. Tell him "thank-you" from me. I also received a package from the Rasmussens today. They are so cute. I love my friends and family!!
