Fear Not

This week we worked hard! We were
out every waking moment we could be, and there were many blessings that came from it.  One such blessing was watching new, beautiful faces walk through the chapel doors for the first time, and for them to be greeted by the members with bright, smiling faces.  We had 8 investigators show up to church!!  I am in awe at the ward members in Concord.  They truly feed His sheep!

I have this big fear of being lost, or getting lost, or losing something. So as we were parking the car to go to a dinner appointment taking a visual of where the car was, we set off to the
members home. After dinner it was time to go.  We left the house, but both stopped--dead in our tracks, not remembering where we parked the car. My heart dropped. HOW DO YOU LOSE A CAR???? After about 20 minutes of walking around, and a lot of praying we found the car. Sigh!

What New England looks like in the winter.
That next day I decided to study the word  "Lost".  I read and read and read, and there was one particular passage that struck me in Doctrine and Covenants.

In D&C:50 it says:

41 Fear not, little children, for you are mine, and I have overcome
the world, and you are of them that my Father hath given me;

42 And none of them that my Father hath given me shall be lost.

Now. I know it has nothing to do with losing a car, but I can't help but think my lost car experience was a way that Heavenly Father taught me a lesson.  I will no longer worry about being lost. I am in good hands and so are you. You are watched over by the Good Shepherd who leaves the 99 to find the one.

Speaking of which, one day this past we were walking down the street and felt prompted to knock on a door.  A lady answered the door and after visiting for a few moments we discovered that she was a member of the church, but we had no record of her.  It was a brilliant reminder to me that He leaves the 99 to find the one! Christ is aware of ALL of  His sheep!

I love you all so much!  Have a great week.
