New Year
January 2, 2017
This week it snowed. A LOT. 13 INCHES!!!! But it was really fun. We came up with
crazy ideas to meet new people, and a lot of them worked!
We had exchanges this week, and I was in Catabury with Sister
Mchoustin. Such a sweet woman. I absolutely love her.
We set a goal of finding 7 new investigators this week --On Friday morning we only had 3 and we had a goal of 7. After exchanges Sister Lefevre and I went about our week and found 8 new investigators-- which was such a blessing. My goodness. God really does help us and wants to help us achieve righteous goals
Take courage from the words of King David to his son Solomon in 1 Chonicles 28:20
Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.
Russel M. Ballard taught:
If your goals are righteous, of God-given perspective, eternal in their nature, then go for them. Pray for the inner strength to have the discipline to do those things that will guarantee through your activity and your life that you will reach your goals. Then, I think, perhaps as important as anything, we have to have faith We have to have faith in God. we have to have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. And, oh, how desperately we have to have faith in ourselves.
Inviting Heavenly Father in to our lives daily allows Him the opportunity to bless and help us. Click here.
With that in mind and it being the NEW YEAR, I hope you all have a
chance to write down your goals for this year and ask God for His help
to achieve it. I know He will. He does it every day for me. Put forth
your effort and he will do the rest.
I love you all!
Loves,
Sister Scherzinger
